My main area of current research interest in focused in

Creative Occupations

I am interested in the impact that engaging in creative occupations can have on an individual in terms of their self concept, occupational identity and experience of flow. I am also interested in the impact that being part of a creative activity group has on the experience of creative occupations. The link with creative activity and occupational therapy is important and how occupational therapists can use creative occupation in their interventions. I have conducted a grounded theory study which explored the clinical utility of creative activity as a therapeutic medium and I would like to take that further to data saturation and develop the model that was emerging.
