Areas of Research
At present my areas for focus are:
Rehabilitation
I am interested in how student nurses perceive nurse practitioners in practice. To this end, I in collaboration with a colleague have captured data to understand the student's perceptions in rehabilitation settings. In doing so it is hoped to develop further data and underpin curricula.
Submitted for conference presentation February 2008
Physical Activity and Health
This area is of great personal interest. I am very interested in the learning attained from the engagement in physical activity circuits for student nurses, particularly knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Presently I am examining data as to how this learning aides nursing knowledge. Submitted for conference presentation June 2008.
