Deadlines for UCAS applications

UCAS have several deadlines.  The first one is 15 January for applications to receive equal consideration, applications can be submitted after this date but universities are not obliged to consider them.

Midwifery and Child Nursing tend not to be able to consider applications received after this date so applicants should be advised to apply before 15 January, most other courses are able to consider applicants.

The next UCAS date is 30 June, for applications to be considered as part of the normal application cycle applications submitted after this date are held for clearing, and applicants would need to contact the University in clearing to obtain a place as application forms received by UCAS after 30 June are not passed on to the Universities.

Applications for part time and post graduate courses are not recruited through UCAS so do not have any externally set deadlines.
